During the day of each concert, we take the cover off the wonderful Steinway at St Laurence’s and allow local – and not so local – talented amateurs the chance to play it, casually, throughout the day in booked 20-minute sessions while the cafe remains open.

It’s a unique opportunity to play a wonderful instrument which brings pianists and their families to the town and brings some beautiful music to the church for any passers-through to enjoy for as long as they choose to!
